“Your boy really showing his acting chops,” Ross said of the vid in an Instagram post on Friday. The musician's ghastly star turn in the promotional film buoys the new single from singer Elizabeth Anne “Z” Berg, former lead vocalist of alt-rockers the Like and succeeding synth-pop project Phases.

As for his own music, Ross was making some fresh solo jams back in 2015, following his time performing in P!ATD on A Fever You Can't Sweat Out (2005) and Pretty. Odd. (2008) and subsequently forming rock band the Young Veins with fellow ex-P!ATD-er Jon Walker. In 2013, Ross dropped some demos on his SoundCloud page, but they've since been deleted.
