Sampa The Great taps Denzel Curry for new single “Lane”—watch

Sampa The Great has shared “Lane” featuring Denzel Curry. The track is her first music released with Loma Vista and is accompanied by a music video.

The new song follows her first-ever Coachella performance, as well as her debut album, 2019’s The Return.

Sampa The Great is a Zambian-born, Botswana-raised artist. “Lane” was created after she returned home to Zambia during the pandemic. The move allowed the artist to reconnect with herself, and the track sees Sampa The Great exploring her own lanes.

“We’re not going to stay in one lane; we’re going to create multiple ones,” Sampa The Great says in a press release. “My truest self encourages me to explore different lanes, and go beyond what I think I know of myself.”
