Say It With Skype creates video messages with real bands (greetings from the AP office)

Ever wish you could enlist Bowling For Soup or Imogen Heap to say “happy birthday” to your friends? You actually can do that thanks to Say It With Skype.

Skype just added The Reel to their list of artists one can choose from to create a pre-recorded musical greeting to friends today, but there are already 16 artists from which one can choose to help say “happy birthday” or “you rock” via Skype video.

Though it may seem like it at first glance, these bands aren't just like that Free Credit Report [dot] Com lackey band. They're real bands with other goings-on of their own. Some are large (Bowling For Soup); some are small; some, you could very well see in our AP&R section.
