For those that don’t know, Andrew Lloyd Webber is the mastermind behind Phantom Of The Opera, Cats and Jesus Christ Superstar among others. As a world-renowned musical composer, it’s hard to believe that Webber listens to anything outside of music theater. However, his latest video proves he is an emo kid at heart.

On Oct. 28, 2017, Twitter user @sophieannelane tweeted about how a Black Parade musical needs to be made.

“Still fuming that The Black Parade hasn’t been made into some incredible goth musical.”

Now, it looks like Webber may be hinting about the possibility of an MCR musical after all. Webber retweeted the post and gave some major praise to My Chemical Romance’s “Welcome To The Black Parade.” In a TikTok video, Webber reminds theater and music fans that it’s one thing to be able to create an iconic set of chords. However, in MCR’s case, it’s another to make one simple piano note truly legendary.

Lloyd then goes on to play the opening piano note to “Welcome To The Black Parade” we all have burned in our brains forever.

Naturally, following Lloyd’s video, MCR fans are asking the composer to turn the classic My Chemical Romance album into the ultimate musical.
