See MGK and Halsey try to let go in the turbulent “forget me too” video
Ever since the release of Machine Gun Kelly‘s Tickets To My Downfall, fans have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of his video for “forget me too” with Halsey.
Now, after weeks of anticipation, the video is finally here and it certainly doesn’t disappoint.

Earlier this year, rumors emerged that MGK and Halsey were finally collaborating together after years of friendship. The song “forget me too” was registered to Halsey’s BMI page with MGK and Travis Barker credited as writers for the track.
Then, in September, the collaboration was confirmed after Machine Gun Kelly sent fans on a scavenger hunt to uncover the full Tickets To My Downfall tracklisting. Naturally, fans were very excited about the upcoming collaboration.

“forget me too” has become one of the most popular songs off of Tickets To My Downfall. It is the second most popular song on MGK’s Spotify behind his collab with blackbear on “my ex’s best friend.” Currently, his track with Halsey has over 24 million streams.
Machine Gun Kelly previously shared that his collaboration with Halsey came together effortlessly.
“It took her five minutes to write that verse, I could tell you that much,” he says. “She was in it. That was the quickest feature session I’ve ever had in my life.”

Soon after the release of Tickets To My Downfall, MGK confirmed that he and Halsey were teaming up again for a “forget me too” video.

The duo filmed the video earlier this month and shared a few behind-the-scenes moments from the shoot.

Now, after weeks of waiting, the “forget me too” video is finally here. For the video, MGK and Halsey channel a couple who can’t seem to let each other go despite their tumultuous history.
After reflecting back on their relationship while letting out their aggression throughout the house, the two eventually come together for one final argument. Travis Barker, who co-write the song and produced Tickets To My Downfall, can be seen rocking out with his drums in the final scene.
At one point in the video, Halsey gives off some serious Amy Lee vibes. With her dark black hair and stark black eyeliner, her look is truly reminding viewers of the Evanescence frontwoman.
