See MGK show off his cowboy skills on set of his new Western movie
It looks like Machine Gun Kelly is briefly trading in his pink Tickets To My Downfall guitar for a cowboy hat.
MGK is starring in the upcoming Tim Sutton-directed Western film The Last Son Of Isaac LeMay. On Thursday, Machine Gun Kelly offered another glimpse into his character while showing off his cowboy chops.

Machine Gun Kelly has appeared in various films over the years including Project Power, Birdbox and Nerve. Now, MGK is starring in The Last Son Of Isaac LeMay which marks his second film as a lead actor. His first starring role happens to be his portrayal of Motley Crue‘s Tommy Lee in Netflix‘s The Dirt.

According to Republic World, The Last Son of Isaac LeMay is set in the Sierra Nevada in the 19th Century. Sam Worthington is starring as Isaac LeMay, a murderous outlaw cursed by a prophecy.
“He hunts down his offspring to prevent his own murder and targeting his son Carl (MGK). With bounty hunters and the cryptic Sheriff Solomon (Thomas Jane) on their trail, all are set on a collision course toward a brutal game of cat-and-mouse.” Heather Graham also stars in the film as Carl’s mother Anna.
Since production for the Western began this fall, Machine Gun Kelly has shared various behind-the-scenes secrets. Back in October, he confirmed that filming for The Last Son Of Isaac LeMay is happening in Montana.

“I’m living in the back of a saloon in Montana for the month shooting this cowboy movie,” he tweets. “Heading out now to go meet my horse. Wish me luck.”

As well, he is going through some extensive horse training to truly get into his cowboy role.
“My horse’s name today was R-2. by the time we start filming they want me at the skill level to ride Kelly or Bull. Bull is a huge horse and doesn’t seem to likr humans but I like Bull.”

On Oct. 18, we got our first look at Machine Gun Kelly’s costume for the upcoming film. He shared a video that showed his Western-style gun holster and snow covering the Montana set.

Now, Machine Gun Kelly is offering another look at his upcoming role. On Thursday, he shared a brief video on Instagram in his full Western attire. Along with a cowboy hat and gloves, MGK can be seen showing off a few of his cowboy skills with his prop gun.

The Last Son Of Isaac LeMay is expected to be released sometime in 2021. According to Alex Merez, MGK wrapped his scenes for the film last week. He shared a video of Machine Gun Kelly getting a round of applause from the cast and crew after his last scene.

Along with starring in the upcoming film, Machine Gun Kelly recently directed MOD SUN‘s new video for “Karma.” As well, the duo is gearing up to release a musical inspired by Tickets To My Downfall.
