Shinedown announce 2019 world tour, support acts

Shinedown announced their 2019 ATTENTION ATTENTION world tour, kicking off Feb. 20 in Estero, Florida and ending March 20 in Loveland, Colorado. They will be supported by Papa Roach and Asking Alexandria.

Along with the tour announcement comes a new single, “GET UP” from ATTENTION ATTENTION, out now via Atlantic. Frontman Brent Smith wrote the song, inspired by watching Shinedown bassist Eric Bass deal with clinical depression.

The lyrics are raw and candid, detailing what Smith experiences and feels watching his friend struggle with depression. ATTENTION ATTENTION is meant to be as poignant as the latest single. Because of this, Shinedown produced the record in-house, letting Bass produce and mix the album in its entirety.

Shinedown are currently on the road for their co-headlining U.S. tour with Godsmack. The band will head over to headline a U.K./Europe tour Oct. 29. A full list of dates, as well as the new 2019 ATTENTION ATTENTION world tour dates, can be found below.
