Silverstein announce new album and other news you might have missed today

tiLLie announced an upcoming EP—plus, don’t miss a new music video from Preston Lovinggood. Check out the news you might have missed today below!

1. The Mowgli’s release new single

The Mowgli’s released “Norman Rockwell,” the third single off their upcoming EP American Feelings, due out March 1. The track was inspired by painter Norman Rockwell and the idea of painting a better version of yourself. You can purchase and listen to the track here and presave the forthcoming album here.

2. Magic Giant release new single featuring American Authors

Magic Giant collaborated with American Authors to make “Rocketman,” a song about looking back on a relationship that may not have been the best, but still caring about the other person. The band are currently on a headline tour across the U.S., and tickets can be found on their website.

3. Preston Lovinggood releases new music video

Preston Lovinggood released a new music video for “Everything Will Be Okay,” taken off his upcoming album, Consequences. The new album will be available May 17 via Last Gang Records. Lovinggood will be teaching others how to put their words into lyrics at several songwriting workshops at Mason Music Studios in Birmingham, Alabama, that begin Feb. 23. Silverstein will release their new album Redux: The First 10 Years later this spring. The record will consist of 12 rerecorded tracks from the band’s first 10 years together. “We chose the songs that we thought needed the most in terms of a sound update, and also which songs have spoken to our fans the most,” vocalist Shane Told says. Fans who preorder the LP here will receive the album April 12.

5. Insomniac Bears release new single

Insomniac Bears released a new track, “Passing Trains,” about finding your place in a world that is always changing. The release comes after the release of EP Hypercolor and is the first track the band recorded with producer Lars Horntveth. The track is available for streaming on SoundCloud.

6. Dave Hause to release new record

Dave Hause will release his fourth studio album, Kick, April 12 via Rise Records. He released the first single, “The Ditch.” Hause hopes the album will provide the listener with a sense of peace. “There is comfort in desperation when you know that other people experience it too, and together you can both sing it and sing through it,” he says. The singer will be going on tour this March, and tickets can be purchased here. Check out the dates below.

MARINA will unleash a two-part album, LOVE+FEAR, April 26. The LP will consist of two eight-song sets. LOVE will feature tracks that express a desire to enjoy life while FEAR will address the singer’s insecurities. The album is available for preorder here.
