Simple Plan cancel shows; Pierre Bouvier needs vocal rest

Simple Plan have had to cancel shows in Shanghai and Beijing because vocalist Pierre Bouvier “has been diagnosed with severe swollen vocal cords and has been ordered to go on complete vocal rest,” the band said in a statement. There's no word yet on how this will affect the rest of Simple Plan's current tour.
