Skrillex candidly calls Deadmau5 an a**hole
Ever since Skrillex teamed up with pop superstar Justin Bieber for the Platinum-certified single, “Where Are Ü Now,” he and Deadmau5’s relationship has been somewhat unstable. Deadmau5 took to Twitter near the end of June to voice his displeasure regarding the track. “Made the mistake of listening to this Jack Ü shit with Bieber assuming they at least did something cool… nope. What the fuck is this shit?” he blatantly tweeted.

In a new interview, Skrillex candidly comments on the two’s relationship, saying, “I’ll always have love for Joel because he put me on at an early time, but he’s an asshole. And everyone knows that, and he knows that. And that’s kinda his thing.”
“I don’t take it personally because I’m secure with myself and what I do, I love what I do,” he later added. “But I almost feel bad that that’s his one way of getting attention rather than going into music and curating. I think his attitude’s changed over the last couple years. I personally have become less connected to his music because his personality is almost overshadowing that, when he is such an incredible artist.”
