As covered at MetalSucks, King recently spoke to uDiscoverMusic about the history of thrash metal. In the interview, the musician let slip that Bizkit's late '90s eminence gave him second thoughts about his chosen industry.

“I was really jaded for a while back in the late '90s. I couldn’t understand why Limp Bizkit was big. It affected me—I didn’t want to play music. I thought, if this is the way that music’s going, then fuck this, I hate it.”

Maybe King was just having “one of those days.”
