1. Sleep On It are asking Chicago fans and bands to come out to plaayyyy

That's right, if you're a fan of Chicago bands or are actually in a Chicago band, Sleep On It are asking you to come out and help them film their new video inspired by the 1979 classic, The Warriors. The shoot is on October 15 at 1 p.m. Don't be late!

2. McCafferty is heading on the road this winter with Heart Attack Man

The band released their newest EP, Thanks. Sorry. Sure, in late June and told AP, “We wanted this EP to let people know we are here to stay in a major way. It's a perfect transition into becoming full-time musicians—showcasing a transition into our own sound and giving fans a variety of sounds to look forward to on our LP.”

3. Kublai Khan released a primalistic video for “B.C.”

Vocalist Matt Honeycutt told Decibel Magazine, “‘B.C.’ describes the illusion of religious importance through history and fact … The lyrics illustrate the use of religion to extinguish indigenous people on multiple continents. Illuminating the use of religion to justify slavery and erase cultural identities and origins.”

Nomad will be released on September 29.
