Sleeping With Sirens won’t let anything “Break Me Down” in explosive new song

Anticipation is high for the next Sleeping With Sirens album especially after the band’s explosive return with “Leave It All Behind.” The track made good on the promise the act was taking it back to 2012 as “heavier and better than ever.”

Now, they’re following it up with an equally infectious track, “Break Me Down,” both of which will be on the forthcoming How It Feels To Be Lost.

SWS gave the track its live debut in Noblesville, Indiana at a Rockstar Disrupt Festival stop earlier this week.

Bassist Justin Hills shared a photo from the gig, asking fans if they heard the new song. “Today was a good day,” he wrote on Instagram. “Played another new one. Who got to hear Break Me Down? What did you think?”

After the set, frontman Kellin Quinn tweeted that it’s dropping “really soon,” and he wasn’t kidding. Now 5 days later, the track is officially available on streaming services.

Sleeping With Sirens “Break Me Down” lyrics

You won’t break me down
I’m not afraid to try and feel something that’s real
I’m not ashamed, you won’t break me down

The last two years of my life are so filled with regret
Tried to fool myself, but I’ll never forget
The time I’ve lost, the pain I felt
But when it’s time to fight
You need to stand your ground

Smoke in my lungs
There’s a fire in my heart (Fire in my heart)
And when it’s all said and done
You won’t break me

You won’t break me down
I’m not afraid to try and feel something that’s real
I’m not ashamed, you won’t break me
When all hope is gone, I’m stronger than I’ve been before
I’m not afraid, you won’t break me down

All the drugs and the fame don’t matter at all
So I swim in the bottle that makes me feel small
To drown out my demons, I still hear them call
But on and on and on, my back’s against the wall

I’m just being honest
I’m trying my best (I’m trying my best)
And when it’s all said and done
You won’t break me

You won’t break me down
I’m not afraid to try and feel something that’s real
I’m not ashamed, you won’t break me
When all hope is gone, I’m stronger than I’ve been before
I’m not afraid, you won’t break me down

Down! The smoke in my lungs
There’s a fire in my heart
And when it’s all said and done
You won’t break me

You won’t break me down! Down!
You won’t break me down!

You won’t break me down
I’m not afraid to try and feel something that’s real
I’m not ashamed, you won’t break me
When all hope is gone, I’m stronger than I’ve been before
I’m not afraid, you won’t break me down, yeah!
