Slipknot stop for fans: “No one’s f—ing getting hurt on my f—ing watch”

Slipknot kicked off the North American run of their Knotfest Roadshow just a few days ago, hitting San Bernardino last night. So far, the crowds have produced some “crazy good” and “rowdy” mosh pits. However, one incident at last night’s show caused vocalist Corey Taylor to cut the music and stop the band’s set in order to get medics into the pit.

You can watch a fan-shot video from last night’s show below.

Reddit user mSTH95 posted about the incident in which some fans were reportedly being trambled and having seizures in the pit.

Taylor stopped the song after people refused to stop moshing to let medics in.

“Knotfest SB was crazy fucking good,” the Reddit post reads. “Mosh pits were so fucking rowdy, crazy good but some chicks started to get trampled & have seizures. Corey got mad, he stopped the song because people wouldn’t stop moving to get EMT In.”

During the video, you can hear Taylor address the crowd.

“No one is fucking getting hurt on my fucking watch, do you understand me? Back the fuck up!”

Another fan who attended the same show also took to Reddit to share a few rowdy moments they saw at the show.

“It was an amazing show all the bands gave it their all and it was definitely one for the books,” Reddit user oNOVAo2 writes.

The user then goes on to address a few fights and injuries, briefly mentioning the incident above.

“In my case i witnessed someone getting pushed and landing on their head. This took place in the pit and as the rules go if someone falls you pick them up. A few guys went to pick up this maggot only to see his head bleeding and he was out cold. A group of us started yelling for help and eventually paramedics arrived and took him out on a [stretcher]. This happened a few songs after Corey had previously stopped the show for another incident but in this case the band didnt know what was going on and they continued playing.”

UPDATE: JULY 28, 4:35 P.M. EST

A photographer posting under the username Horrordave76 shared another video several hours later, which you can see along with his statement below.

“So the girl I zoom in on was getting crushed. So much so they could not pull her out. It was a good minute before Corey stopped the band and I started recording. It was kinda scary. I’m a concert photographer. Sorry for the format, we are not allowed to video, so I had to be quick.”
