Here's what the Slipknot haunted house looked like
Slipknot are giving fans an insight into their band-themed Halloween haunted house.

The masked metalheads celebrated this past Halloween with a really special Slipknot-themed haunted house in their home state of Iowa.
The project, a joint effort between the group and local Des Moines attraction the Slaughterhouse, was called the “ultimate nightmare come true.”
The even was tailor made for the band’s fan base, featuring music, characters and imagery plucked straight out of their catalog.
Of course, not every fan was able to make it to Iowa for the event, and now the band are sharing a video to show what the haunted house was like.
It’s a chilling experience, that’s for sure. Watch the video below:
Slipknot’s new album
Slipknot announced earlier this year an upcoming 10th Anniversary Edition reissue of All Hope Is Gone, which comes out Dec. 7.
Plus, Crahan recently revealed there’s a whole album’s worth of unreleased material from around the time the masked Iowa metalheads recorded their watershed 2008 fourth studio album, All Hope Is Gone.
However, the material in question isn’t exactly Slipknot stuff, but extra tunes from members of the group.
And it looks like these unreleased AHIG-era goodies from the Slipknot crew may eventually see the light of day. Crahan says the band will eventually drop some of the material, but he cautions that they’ll only release it of their own volition.
Slipknot recently released their first new song in four years titled “All Out Life,” the group’s first piece of new music since their 2014 album, .5: The Gray Chapter.
The song is off the band’s upcoming sixth record. The title hasn’t been revealed yet, but Clown, a.k.a. M. Shawn Crahan recently shared little more insight into the record’s concept.
Crahan explained Slipknot been working on the album since 2016 and, although it’s not finished yet, the band does have many demoed songs. They also have the record’s concept already.
“What I can tell you is I’ve known all the words all the time, so I’ve been able to paint the dream world and the nightmare in my mind,” he tells Billboard. “[It] breaks down to…good vs. evil, or in this sense, evil vs. good.”
Slipknot plan to finish recording their sixth studio album early next year. The album is then expected to be out in the summer of 2019.
