Slipknot guitarist stabbed in the head after fight with brother
According to a report from Des Moines, Iowa’s KCCI, Mickeal Gordon Thomson—better known as Slipknot guitarist Mick Thomson—“sustained a stab wound to the back of his head,” after getting into an altercation with his younger brother, Andrew. (Updated below.)
The “altercation” apparently began in Mickeal’s home and then “spilled into the front yard,” where things turned physical. Police said both men appeared to be intoxicated and had “serious injuries”—but none that were life-threatening.
KCCI reports: “Police said both men were taken to a local hospital in separate ambulances. No charges have been filed at this time. The investigation continues.”
