Snapchat now allowing users to replay snaps—for a price
Today, Snapchat rolled out their new pay-to-replay feature. For $1, users are now able to replay a snap up to three times. Buyers beware, however, as you are only able to purchase one replay per snap. So after a max-total of four plays, snaps will vanish into cyberspace as they always have.

The update likely appears as a combative technique against related services that allow users to capture snaps on a permanent basis, (via USA Today).
Additionally, Snapchat rolled out their new selfie feature in the update, which gives users the option to animate their faces in various ways. You can make yourself puke rainbows and turn yourself into a zombie, among other outrageous things.
