Soccer Mommy is following up her fantastic 2022 album, Sometimes, Forever, with a new EP of covers. Karaoke Night is out Sept. 22 via Loma Vista, and it includes her recent take on Sheryl Crow’s “Soak Up The Sun,” along with her versions of songs by Taylor Swift, Slowdive, Pavement, and R.E.M.

Today she’s shared her rendition of Swift’s “I’m Only Me When I’m With You,” from her self-titled debut album. “I really wanted to cover this song because it’s one of my favorites from Taylor’s first album,” Soccer Mommy says. “I listened to that record so much when I was a kid, and I think it had a lot of influence on me then.”
