Sonic the Hedgehog might just finally be looking the way fans prefer. After the initial trailer for the speedy blue mammal's leap to the big screen was heavily criticized for the way Sonic looked, the creators behind the film completed an entire redesign of Sonic.

When the original trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog dropped back in April, it was met with heavy criticism over what Sonic actually looked like. It was bad. The little hedgehog was weirdly human looking in the face.
Because the criticism was so loud, director Jeff Fowler tweeted about it and delayed the movie to allow for a redesign.
