Soul Glo release NSFW video for new song "If I Speak (Shut The Fuck Up)"

Ahead of their tour with Zulu and Playytime, Soul Glo have released a new single, “If I Speak (Shut The Fuck Up).” It comes with an NSFW video directed by Ava LaPrima that features a group of tied-up people in blindfolds and a wall of dildos. You can watch that here, and there’s also a censored version that you can watch below.

“‘If I Speak’ is a song about channeling one’s voice and perspective through art or another creative expression,” vocalist Pierce Jordan says. “You can hear when people spend more time online than on their music. You can tell when people are more focused on a visual statement than a sound.”

From its anticipation-building intro to its chaotic center, it’s an instantly satisfying hardcore song and the kind that only Soul Glo can do. It was produced by the band’s own GG Guerra, engineered by frequent collaborator Evan Bernard, and mixed by Steve Evetts (Lifetime, Deadguy).

Soul Glo’s tour with Zulu and Playytime begins on Thursday (Sept. 7). All dates are listed below. Soul Glo said that they’ll be playing two new songs on this tour, so maybe another single is on the way.
