Speak Low If You Speak Love, the solo project of State Champs bassist Ryan Scott Graham, released a beautiful cover of Jimmy Eat World’s “Kill,” leaving us with goosebumps. Check out the track below.

The song, originally meant to be a part of a Jimmy Eat World tribute that never came to fruition, is all about vulnerability. Covering this track in particular just made sense.

“Speak Low has always been an endeavor that attempts to put real human emotion on display, and I think this song captures that essence so well,” Ryan Scott Graham says. “There are no frills—just a beautiful and distressing story of missed chances.”

The single will be available on iTunes and Spotify Friday, Oct. 21.
