'Spider-Man' spin-off movie slated for 2021 release from Sony
Sony has done a fantastic job revamping the Spider-Man movies and it looks like they potentially have another spin-off film in the works.
While Morbius and Venom 2 are in the works at the moment, the company has a mystery film currently slated as “UNTITLED SONY/MARVEL” set for release in October 8, 2021.

As Sony are only able to make Spider-Man films with the Disney buyout, the mystery film has to be related to the web-slinger.
Morbius is already set for release on July 31 ruling it out of contention.
It’s also highly unlikely to be the followup to Venom as that already has a release date of October 2, 2020.
The unknown film is also set to drop just a few months after the third Tom Holland starring Spider-Man movie is expected to arrive. The third installment featuring Holland is set for arrival on July 16, 2021 as of this time.
With these movies ruled out, we know what the new film won’t be, but there are so many characters in the Spider-Man universe they could explore.

Some likely options they could explore would be Sinister Six or Spider-Woman. With DC/Warner trying to capitalize on Suicide Squad, plus Wonderwoman and Captain Marvel doing well it wouldn’t be surprising if Sony try for similar dynamics. Take a look below for what some people are speculating it could be.
Unless they decide to revive Silver and Black, the most likely option is the Kraven the Hunter film written by Richard Wenk. Either way, I’m excited. Hope they cast Luke Evans as Kraven and Sydney Sweeney as Black Cat. pic.twitter.com/W23xPCFBhT

It would be a huge and welcomed surprise if this was a Spider Woman or Spider-Girl film I mean with DC having Wonder Woman and Marvel having Captain Marvel and Black Widow I would think Sony would make sure female fans arent left without proper representation on screen
