Hear Spiritbox’s bittersweet banger “The Void”
After playing it live across their sold-out U.S. headliner, Spiritbox have finally dropped a proper studio version of their impressive new song “The Void.”
With soaring vocals, chugging guitars, and pop smarts, the single hints at Spiritbox’s next form. It’s also a track that vocalist Courtney LaPlante says “came about very quickly.”

“I didn’t have to fight with anything to write it, and when that happens, I don’t argue with it. It’s a type of song that I’ve been wanting to write for a long time. I’ve heard it hundreds of times now, and it makes me so happy every time I hear it. It’s been such an amazing experience playing this song on our tour, and watching people hear it for the first time, in real time,” she continues.
Spiritbox are currently in the midst of their first-ever U.S. headlining tour. With only a handful of dates left, the metal outfit will play Denver tonight and then make stops in Houston, Philly, and Detroit, among other cities, before concluding the run in Minneapolis on May 10.
