Spotify is introducing a number of different features lately, and they've just announced another.

The streaming platform will now streamline their "Your Library" tab to make content quicker and easier to find.

The update arrived yesterday and is available to all Premium users. The reimagined Library design makes for a more personal and seamless experience while boosting their podcasts.

Now, users are able to swipe between podcast and music tabs making podcasts stand out more on the app. The two tabs are also further separated into three additional sub-tabs. In the music one, there will be "Playlists," "Artists" and "Albums," while podcasts will have "Episodes," "Shows" and "Downloads."

The company says any music saved to your library before the redesign will still be there with the update. More information on the updated functions can be found here.

They've been pushing for a bigger presence in the podcasting community this year with the buyout of production house Gimlet Media and the podcast creation and hosting platform Anchor. Earlier this month, they also got a multi-year partnership with Barack and Michelle Obama's production company to produce content.

Spotify has also recently introduced the ability to let friends control each other's music through “Social Listening.”

The new feature allows people to make a collaborative playlist in real time and share song suggestions with their friends.

They have also created Your Daily Drive, a new personalized playlist with curated music, news and podcasts for commuting purposes.

It mainly targets commuters in providing “a personalized audio feed that blends music and news in one place for the perfect commute experience,” according to Spotify.
