The preview of the previously unreleased scene is included in a new episode of The Star Wars Show, where Last Jedi director Rian Johnson discusses the upcoming novelization of the film by writer Jason Fry, as noted by NME.

“We talked through some interesting additional scenes from the film,” Johnson says of reviving material from the cutting room floor. “That's kind of some of the fun stuff you can get into a novel that you can't always get onto the screen.”

While the book will include segments initially written for the film that never made it to screen, such as Han Solo's funeral, the just-revealed deleted scene from The Last Jedi shows Rey snapping at Luke Skywalker during her training.

Get a brief glimpse of the exclusive Last Jedi bonus scene in the below Star Wars Show video at around the three-minute mark. Both The Last Jedi on Blu-ray and DVD, as well as the new movie novelization, will be out March 6.
