Steel Panther’s bassist enters sex rehab, pulls from tour

Steel Panther’s bassist, Lexxi Foxx, has voluntarily entered sex rehab upon realizing that his past random sexual encounters have not been good for his personal wellbeing. The bassist has since pulled from the band’s current tour and will be temporarily replaced by long-time friend, Spyder.

The band disclosed that their current lifestyle could be taken advantage of in unhealthy ways, hence Foxx’s decision to get help.

“We love Lexxi Foxx… and his mother,” drummer Stix Zadinia says. “We support his decision to enter sex rehab. We can’t wait for him to get back on the road with us after he learns how to have better sex.”

Spyder, who also acts as the band’s backstage doorman, will accompany the rest of the band on the remainder of their tour starting Nov. 29.

Additionally, the California glam-metal band was recently in the news for “accidentally” showing up to a Steelers vs. Panthers football game. The band jokingly claimed that they were there to headline the Thursday night football slot. You can check out their hilarious promo below.

While fans may not be able to see Foxx on tour this time, they can still see the bassist in the band’s parody Youtube show Cineminute. Last week, the band parodied The Usual Suspect, which you can watch below. On Dec. 4, Steel Panther will take on Brokeback Mountain.

The band, with Spyder as their fill-in bassist, are currently on tour. You can check out a full list of dates below and grab your tickets here.
