A track called “Why Are We So Broken” includes the appearance from blink, per the album’s pre-release info. And one titled “Golden Days” has the Jimmy Eat World singer in the mix. They sit among a feature-filled Aoki full-length that also boasts cuts sporting cameos from Mike Posner, Lady Antebellum, actress Bella Thorne and more.

And, of course, the gentlemen of blink-182 have previously collaborated with the star DJ. The pair got together on a “Bored To Death” remix not long ago, the Steve Aoki version of the tune coming out in August 2016, hot on the heels of blink’s triumphant comeback. Not to mention the time the band actually performed in the producer’s living room.

Aoki is known for his awesome music collabs, which he tells the Independent are the result of a creative drive fueled by “cross-genre collaboration. I love being in the studio with different artists.” And that stems from his formative influences.

“In the early days, I was into hardcore music,” he says. “So I was listening to Gorilla Biscuits and Minor Threat… a lot of these bands have a very small following in the large scope of things but they were incredibly meaningful to my career.”
