Safety is always the most important thing at any show, which is why we're so happy to see Corey Taylor stop his performance mid-song during a Stone Sour perfromance to help a fan that got injured.

This unfortunate incident happened during Stone Sour's show in Sydney, Australia. Near the end of their set, the band began performing “Gone Sovereign” when Taylor stops singing and throws his hand up to drummer, Roy Mayorga, to get him to stop playing.

Taylor then walks offstage to the confusion of fans, only to return and instruct everyone to back up.

“Alright, everybody back up. There seems to be a medical issue. Make some room for the professionals to get in there, guys,” instructs Taylor.

Fans quickly get out of the way and break out in applause for support for the injured fan. Taylor repeatedly makes sure that the fan is okay before getting the fans pumped up before getting into their next song, “Absolute Zero.”

This is why we love Corey Taylor and we hope this can become a regular thing when fans possibly get hurt at shows.

Taylor recently went on Larry King Live to talk about some dream collaborations with Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor and rapper Jay-Z, along with what would ever happen if Stone Sour and Slipknot were to tour at the same time. He said he’d likely see his son take his place in Stone Sour. (After his epic performance, we could totally see it happening, too!)
