Stranger Things' David Harbour reveals season 4 is coming soon–while at an NBA game

David Harbour recently shared an update on Stranger Things season 4. However, the update didn’t come where you might think – unless you expected it to come from a phone screen during a basketball game.

Harbour and Stranger Things co-star Noah Schnapp recently went to catch a New York Knicks game. During the event, the pair were spotted in the crowd and put on camera. Harbour held up his phone to the camera, revealing a message that simply read, “ST4 is coming soon, promise.”

The message came as a welcome surprise for fans, as Netflix hasn’t revealed any new information on Stranger Things season 4 since dropping a trailer in November. It’s also been the longest gap in the show since it launched, with over two years since the last season aired.

Hopefully, fans won’t have to wait too much longer for the new season. The Stranger Things Twitter account posted back in August 2021 that the series would return in 2022. While no official date is here, Harbour’s message should at least give us some comfort while we wait for the next season.
