While StubHub is notorious for gouging fans on ticket prices, they're offering a solid deal this weekend to cut costs.

If you were late picking up tickets for some shows coming up, StubHub is offering up to $100 off purchases from now until June 9.

The company is offering the deal as part of its “Spend and Save” Summer promo. Customers will receive $25 off a purchase of $250, $75 off a purchase of $500 and $100 off a purchase of $750. Spending $750 on a single concert ticket may seem a tad excessive, but if you're really desperate to go to an expensive show, $100 off the price isn't too bad.

Those prices may sound crazy, but it's definitely not unheard of. Bikini Kill reunion tickets sold out in literally one second and were selling for as high as $775.

Ticket reselling practices have been proven to be extremely shady after an investigate piece was released last year by CBC News and the Toronto Star. Ticketmaster, who aren't connected to StubHub, were working behind-the-scenes with online ticket scalpers in order to profit twice.

At the time, Ticketmaster president Jared Smith released a statement defending resale practices.

“We have gotten pretty effective at blocking people from buying lots of tickets, and we take it seriously,” says Smith. “Where the distinction has been made and where we have to improve, I think, is on the backside of those products. We probably don’t do enough to look into TradeDesk even though it’s hard and it’s not as obvious as people are suggesting it is.”

Some of the shows currently on StubHub include blink-182, Billie Eilish, Bon Iver, Tyler, The Creator and more. All you have to do is head here and enter the promo code “SUMMER19” at checkout.
