Three 'Suicide Squad' stars to return for movie's sequel
It looks like the comic and movie worlds are aligning to get the ball rolling on Suicide Squad 2. As Variety reports, Warner Bros. has announced that Michael De Luca is set to produce Suicide Squad 2, and three fan favorites will be back as well.

Variety explains that De Luca is set to join writer Gavin O’Connor on the sequel, which stars “Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Jared Leto.”
So, it looks like Deadshot, Harley Quinn and The Joker will officially be back in action in Suicide Squad 2! (We’re still wondering if Jared Leto has seen the original, though, after claiming he’d never seen the movie despite starring in it…)
The entertainment news source says Suicide Squad 2 is a top priority at Warner Bros., and they believe shooting isn’t expected to start until fall 2018.
Suicide Squad made massive waves at the box office, and the soundtrack broke some incredible records, too. Featuring Twenty One Pilots and Panic! At The Disco, it was the first soundtrack to reach No. 1 in the U.S. in over a year—which is pretty dang impressive.
We’re just stoked to see who makes their return to the film series—and what’s in store for Suicide Squad 2.
