While the creators could have easily gotten more than a few laughs by just putting System of a Down in sock puppet form, they didn’t stop there. The parody itself changes the context of “Chop Suey” into a song about puppies. The name of the parody is even called “Sock Chewy.”

Additionally, the sock puppet characters share the screen with some adorable, yet vicious companions. In fact, all of the pups in the video are representative of the East Lake Pet Orphanage. You can visit their site here to get more information about adopting a new best friend.

You can watch the glorious video below.

To make matters even better, fans are taking to social media to share their thoughts on the video.

According to MetalInjection, Sock Puppet Parody have additionally parodied other metal songs such as Slipknots’s “Wait and Bleed,” Slayer’s “Raining Blood” and, of course, Metallica’s “Master of Puppets.”
