A few weeks ago, we reported that a since-deleted Facebook event was posted, claiming that a reunion show for Man Overboard was in the works set for later this year.

After noticing the event, many fans were left questioning whether or not a reunion show for the band was actually going to happen. Fast forward to today, and it looks like our wait is officially over.

Earlier this morning, the band dropped a video to their Facebook page where they discussed their 10 years as a band, and in addition to that, they also announced that they will be doing a string of headlining anniversary shows.

Read their statement below:

When we started this band 10 years ago we never thought it would take us the places it did. We traveled the world and created a wealth of memories. We experienced great triumphs and our fair share of setbacks. It’s a journey that shaped who we all are as people today and something we are eternally grateful for… come celebrate 10 years with us.

The band will be doing three shows for the mini reunion run, with support from Seahaven, a band who will also be making their long awaited return to the stage.

The reunion show will kick off on Nov. 30 in New York, New York and it will wrap up two days later on Dec. 2 in Cambridge Massachusetts.

Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday, Aug. 3 at 10 am local time. You can grab your tickets here.

Check out the announcement and the full list of dates below.

Dates:

11/30 – New York, NY @ Gramercy Theatre

12/01 – Philadelphia, PA @ Theater Of Living Arts

12/02 – Cambridge, MA @ The Sinclair

The band hasn’t confirmed any further plans outside of the three anniversary shows, but we’ll be sure to keep our eyes out for any additional announcements from both bands.

Man Overboard formed back in 2008. Since then, they’ve released four full-length albums, multiple splits and EPs, and toured various regions of the world.
