The All-American Rejects keep fans on standby with broadcast-style teaser—UPDATED

UPDATE: JULY 3, 5:40 P.M EST

The All-American Rejects unleashed a cryptic clip on the world yesterday, and it looks like the teasing is nowhere near finished.

The group dropped a second clip today with the same broadcast style aesthetic. While yesterday’s video featured a news anchor getting cut off by an alert, today’s is even more mysterious.

The band shared the snippet with, “HERE IT COMES.”  The clip spotlights a scorpion before getting cut off with “something’s coming.” You can see it below.

Many fans are hopeful for new tunes, but some are convinced the band is just trolling.

Fans have been on the edge of their seats in high anticipation for what’s to come after the endless throwback photos and studio teasers from the band.

Just last month, All-American Rejects took to Instagram to post a photo with the catption, “Working on something special. Any guesses?”

The post immediately kicked fan theories into overdrive, with many expected we’d see new music sooner rather than later.

Now, the band has posted a mysterious broadcast-style teaser along with the text, “IT’S TIME WE TOLD YOU THE NEWS.”

Is a new album announcement finally on the horizon?

New music would make sense for the Rejects as they gear up for a set at the upcoming 25th anniversary Warped Tour shows. The band will appear at the Mountain View stop’s second day, July 21.
