The retooled self-empowerment bop accompanies in-studio takes of the group’s “Sincerity Is Scary,” “It’s Not Living (If It’s Not With You)” and “TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME.” The 1975’s A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships is out Nov. 30.

Healy says Grande is “the person I see spoken about most” in intro to the reimagined cover tune. And she’s “somebody I’ve started to really care about for some reason,” he adds, as noted by SPIN. “She’s had a right old tough time and I like her a lot. I think she’s cool. And she’s got a great voice, and I don’t, so I’m gonna sing one of her songs.”

And the re-envisioned rendition amps up the quasi-contemporary gospel flavor of the original, complete with a small choir. Grande’s studio version of the track is slated for her upcoming fifth studio album, also to be titled thank u, next.
