twenty one pilots updated their Trench logo on two social media accounts causing fans to speculate new content and the possible end of an era.
The logo has gone through several makeovers since the band’s inception. Beginning with a a single blue and red lines of Vessel, and going black and red for Blurryface.
The original yellow and black logo first made its appearance in 2018 when the duo was ushering in the Trench era. Unlike the two before it, an extra slash was added to each side of the hyphen. Singer Tyler Joseph later explained this as symbolism of protection the duo’s evolution.

“The feeling of being surrounded by something that’s protecting you,” he says. “I knew I wanted that logo to have those extra layer of protection.”
The band recently updated their Twitter and Facebook accounts with a new image, and although the change is small, it didn’t go unnoticed.
An observant Twitter user posted the side by side images, the new logo is sharp, unlike its predecessor, which looks worn.

Fans were quick to come up with theories (something the Clique is known for) for what the change means, some hoping it means new music is on the way.
