QUIZ: How well do you know the lyrics to “my future” by Billie Eilish?

Billie Eilish just released her first new song in months called “my future,” and we haven’t been able to stop listening. The haunting track by the 18-year-old artist is a reflection of her personal growth and learning to be comfortable with being alone.

The track marks the first new music from Eilish since the release of “No Time To Die” in February for the now delayed James Bond film of the same name. “my future” was written and recorded by Eilish and her brother FINNEAS in just two days before it was released July 31. She also released an emotional animated video to go along with the track.

More on Billie Eilish

At just 18 years old, Billie Eilish has already set numerous records. Following the release of her debut album, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?, she became the third female solo artist to have multiple No. 1. alternative singles with “bad guy” and “bury a friend.”

The album also helped her break records at the 62nd Grammy Awards. By snagging Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best New Artist, Eilish became the first woman to win all four major awards. The singer was only the second musician to do so following Christopher Cross in 1981. As Cross was 29 when he won, Eilish is also the youngest person to sweep the awards.

Now, Eilish is adding another record to her resume following the 2020 Video Music Awards nominations. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, MTV is still planning to host the awards ceremony Aug. 30.

Eilish scored another nod for Video Of The Year, thanks to the self-directed 2019 single “everything i wanted,” making her the first artist in VMAs history to get nominated twice while in their teens. This follows last year’s nomination for breakthrough track “bad guy.”

She’ll be facing off with Eminem ft. Juice WRLD (“Godzilla”), Future ft. Drake (“Life Is Good”), Lady Gaga with Ariana Grande (“Rain On Me”), Taylor Swift (“The Man”) and the Weeknd (“Blinding Lights”).
