Blood On The Dance Floor’s Dahvie Vanity accused of sexual assault

Dahvie Vanity (aka Jesus David Torres) of electro-pop act Blood On The Dance Floor has been accused of sexual assault by several women, many of whom were underage at the time of the incident.

In an exposé with MetalSucks, several women stepped forward to share their experiences with Torres, some of which used pseudonyms to protect their identities.

Tye was a sophomore in high school when she first began communicating with 27-year-old Torres in 2011. She met Torres at a local mall after Facebook and text conversations where she was upfront with him about her age. Tye says it didn’t bother him and he gifted her the nickname of “My Little School Girl.”

After eating dinner, Torres took Tye to his SUV. She thought they were going to another location, but Torres had other plans in mind.

“But instead he shoved my face on his dick,” Tye alleges. “He was feeling me up and I just didn’t know what to do. I’d never been in this situation. So I just let it happen.”

Tye’s story of Torres’ actions was not the first time the musician was accused of sexual assault with an arrest record dating back to 2009.

Shae, who was 14 years old at the time, has a similar story to Tye, having met Torres the same year. Shae went to see Blood On The Dance Floor in concert with a shirt she wanted the band to sign. After waiting for them after the show, Torres obliged but instead signed the one she was wearing and grabbed her boobs in the process.

Several years later, Shae went to another show, this time with her mother as no one else was able to take her. While she was sitting at the bar, Torres began a performance of “Call Me Master,” and soon unwillingly became a part of the show.

“Dahvie walked through the crowd with a girl on a leash,” Shae says. “He walked over to my mother, who was sitting at the bar, and proceed to pour a drink all over her shirt.”

Torres then grabbed Shae’s mother and attempted to make out with her, but she was “appalled” and “tried to push him off,” according to Shae.

Jeffree Star and New Years Day frontwoman Ash Costello both revealed on social media in 2012 that they had witnessed Torres’ questionable actions with both artists being part of The Scene Is Dead tour that year.

“I’m gonna speak the truth til I die,” Star tweeted in screenshots obtained by MetalSucks. “We saw @botdfmusic Dahvie bring under age girls to his hotel rooms an do sexual things. 100% ILLEGAL.”

New Years Day parted ways with the tour as Costello explained in a blog post, referring to Torres as the biggest bully she has ever met.

“I watched too many fans get abused and I was abused myself by this person,” she explains. “I no longer felt comfortable where I was. NYD wanted to at least finish out the tour for one reason only, YOU GUYS, our fans, but that’s not what happened and it is probably for the best.”

Prior to leaving the tour, Costello revealed she had stopped joining the band onstage for “Hell On Heels” because it made her uncomfortable.

Other stories have poured in including from Belle who was 14 when she first met and began talking to Torres in 2013. Once 18, Torres picked her up and tried to kiss her. Belle tried to stop him, revealing she had been previously assaulted by an ex-boyfriend.

“He genuinely seemed upset that that happened to me,” Belle says. “He told me that he hates people like that, and feels horrible for everyone who experienced stuff like that.”

Despite this, Torres continued making unwanted advances towards Belle before forcing her to perform oral sex on him. She was crying, to which Torres shrugged off after the fact.

“He grabbed me, and pulled me close to him, hugging me,” Belle says. “He started to tell me that, that’s just how BDSM is, that it’s about love and trust, and things like that.”

Alice, who was 15, and Evelyn, who was 18, both had similar experiences.

Having previously defended Torres against accusations, Alice soon endured an experience of her own that included forced kissing and oral sex.

“He made me pinky-swear that I would never tell another soul what he was about to do, because he could ‘get in big trouble,’” she says. “Then he forcefully kissed me.”

Despite the accusations building, Torres has forced himself upon women as recent as 2016 as told by Kate, who was 20.

“I was pretty deeply asleep and didn’t get what was going on until he just stuck his dick in my mouth. I didn’t know what to do, I was still tipsy from the night before, he had a firm grip on my hair and my head and was trying to force me to [perform oral sex] and I didn’t want to make him mad at me so I just gave him a blowjob and then we went back to sleep.”

Despite this, Kate agreed to appear in Torres’ video for “Sinners Are Winners” where she pretended to give him oral sex under a desk. Unsurprisingly, Torres continued to push her face into his lap against her wishes during the shoot.

In a twist of events, Torres recently attempted to defend William Control when he was first accused of assault.

Posted from the band’s official Instagram account, he stated:

“Toured with you for many years. Never once seen you get out of line. That what they do now. Make up false stories and make you out to be some kind of villain. When in reality you’ve done so much good to the music scene. I will always be on your side. People don’t realize how these lies can destroy a man’s life. It’s not right! And to see good people go through this shit is just bad. I think that’s awesome you are focusing your energy now on family and friends. Let me know if there is anything we can help. Always got your back brother and we know you are truly a righteous dude.”
