Dave ditches the beard in Maps & Atlases' new video, "Old Ash"

Maps & Atlases have released a new video for “Old Ash,” a track from last year's Beware And Be Grateful. 

Ever wondered what it would be like to witness frontman Dave Davison shave off his iconic beard? Well, weirdos, you're in luck. 

Filmed by drummer Christopher Hainey through a two-way mirror, the video depicts Davison ditching his staple Santa scruff for the first time in years. On a related note- we're pleased to confirm that there is, in fact, still a face under there.

You can mourn the loss of Dave's beard this weekend at Bonnaroo, or at one of the group's scattered shows throughout the summer. Check out a handful of tour dates, along with the video for “Old Ash,” below.
