Black Star Pastry in Australia is serving the glowing food, which have been dubbed “glonuts,” and we’re sure they’re going to take over Insagram feeds ASAP.
The shop says that the icing is a “yuzu glaze” that glows from vitamin B, which is often used to make glow-in-the-dark food, Cosmopolitan reports.
“Black Star is all about great techniques and real cooking; we never add dyes or additives to any of our products,” owner Chirstopher Thé told the Daily Mail. “We strictly adhered to this principle in order to make the glow in the dark doughnut happen.”
Black Star’s site says they were created to celebrate the annual Vivid light extravaganza, and we want to get our hands on one (or a few) ourselves.
