In case you haven't noticed, Avengers character Hawkeye hasn't been in any trailers or teasers for Avengers: Infinity War.

We last saw Hawkeye at the end of Captain America: Civil War returning to his family.

So, is Hawkeye bowing out? Is he going to make a surprise appearance in Avengers: Infinity War? Or is he going to be the only avenger not in the film? We have so many questions.

Check out the trailer below and see for yourself—no sign of Hawkeye.

But Jeremy Renner, who plays Hawkeye, has said he's excited about the next Avengers movie, according to MTV. Renner is an original avenger and was the first to receive an Oscar, so they can’t cut him out of the movie, right?

Well, no worries—he'll be there. Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige said that Hawkeye’s disappearance from Avengers: Infinity War teasers is the best thing that could have happened to Renner's character because it's proving people actually care about his character now that he's missing.

“There are big, big story things coming up for Hawkeye and Jeremy Renner is as strong an actor as anyone in the MCU and awesome as this character,” Feige said, Polygon reports. “But ‘The guy with the bow and arrow jokes’, right? There are a lot of ‘Guy with bow and arrow jokes.’ He even makes ‘Guy with a bow and arrow’ jokes in some of the movies. So I love that people go from ‘Oh, Hawkeye is just lucky to be there’ to ‘Oh where is he? He’s not there? What’s going to happen? We need Hawkeye. We want more Hawkeye.’

“I love it. It’s the best.”

Be sure to catch Avengers: Infinity War when it hits theaters April 27.
