Her Bright Skies - "Bonnie & Clyde (The Revolution)" video premiere

Sweden's Her Bright Skies, who were among our 100 Bands You Need To Know in 2013, released their third full-length Rivals last year via Panic & Action. Today, we're excited to debut the video for “Bonnie & Clyde (The Revolution),” our recommended track from the album.

“The song is about a young couple who is sick of the world, and wants to get away,” says vocalist Jaybee Brolin. “They want to start a revolution against the lives they are expected to live, and just make it on their own.”

The video tells the story of Clyde and Bonnie, two people frustrated by their lack of acceptance in the world. They bond through their shared pain and run away, where they find happiness together and through an unexpected fortune that falls upon them.

Fun facts from guitarist/vocalist Pete Nilsson:

  • “When we were shooting the pie throwing-scene (which we only had one shot to do pretty much) one guy in the film crew put so much cream on the pie, that the entire crew had to clean the whole cafè for 30 min, floor, walls and ceiling.”
  • “During the shooting of Jaybee [Brolin, vocals] singing up on the hill, it was so windy and cold that he couldn't feel his hands after they were done shooting.”
