Hilary Duff teases Third Eye Blind collab clip with husband Matthew Koma

One would think that Disney star Hilary Duff would have enough on her plate with the revival of her old show Lizzie McGuire, but the star has even more up her sleeve. She recently announced she’s dropping a cover of Third Eye Blind‘s “Never Let You Go” with collaborators RAC and her husband Matthew Koma.

The fact that Duff is a singer is far from unknown. Who could forget her amazing solo performance in The Lizzie McGuire Movie?

The star has also released an assortment of albums since the start of her music career. In 2003, she released her first Christmas album Santa Claus Lane and later dropped Metamorphosis.

She dropped a self-titled LP in 2004 and Most Wanted in 2005 and shared Dignity in 2007.

Her last release was 2015 with Breathe In. Breathe Out. That was also when she dropped her last music video for “Sparks.”

Recently, Duff took to Instagram to drop a clip of an upcoming cover of Third Eye Blind’s “Never Let You Go.”

She also says its a collaboration between her, her husband – Winnetka Bowling League‘s Matthew Koma – and singer RAC.

Duff and Koma are big fans of Third Eye Blind. From attending shows to meeting the members, the couple has expressed their love for the band on several occasions.

Earlier today, Duff posted a teaser of the upcoming collab saying TEB has “play[ed] a huge part” in her and Koma’s relationship.

To say that @matthewkoma and I are fans of 3EB is a massive understatement. These records actually play a huge part in our love story….Matt came home before Christmas and told me our good friend @rac wanted him to cover this and I weaseled my way right in there too ?out 2/12

Her husband also shared the teaser on his own feed.

“Recorded a cover with @rac + @hilaryduff to continue my search for validation in the eyes of @stephanjenkins” Koma captioned his post. “Your move Jenkins, your move.”

The song officially drops Feb. 12 and is available for preorder here.
