JAY-Z apparently compared Lil Uzi Vert to Prince and the internet can't deal
Lil Uzi Vert is really keeping things interesting on the internet this week. After unveiling his controversial face implant and plans to get Elon Musk‘s brain chip, he is now claiming JAY-Z has compared him to Prince.
Of course, the internet has a lot of things to say about the alleged comparison.

It’s been a rather exciting week for Lil Uzi Vert. He started it all off by unveiling his $24 million pink diamond he had surgically implanted into his forehead. The latest body modification led to a slew of memes and reactions including comparisons to Marvel‘s Vision. Just days later, Lil Uzi Vert revealed that he could actually die from the implant. Soon after, however, the jeweler behind the now-viral diamond explained whether or not the implant is actually safe.
Amidst all of this, both Grimes and Lil Uzi Vert unveiled their plans to get Neuralink‘s brain chip that can stream music among other things. Earlier this month, we learned that Elon Musk’s company is planning to start implanting these computer chips into actual human brains later this year. This is, of course, after the company had successful trials on animals.
Now, Lil Uzi Vert is stirring up another storm on social media this week. For those of you that don’t know, Lil Uzi Vert is signed to JAY-Z’s record label Roc Nation. On Tuesday, the rapper tweeted out to his 8.1 million followers that his boss JAY-Z (“Hov”) and Juan “OG” Perez, the president of Roc Nation Sports, have compared him to Prince. As a result, he is adopting the nickname “Lil Prince.”

Although he doesn’t offer any context about the comparison, he did share a follow-up tweet thanking both JAY-Z, Juan and presumably Juan’s wife Desiree Perez.

Of course, the alleged comparison is drawing a lot of different reactions on social media. While some don’t believe JAY-Z really made the comparison, others aren’t sure how Prince and Lil Uzi Vert are even similar. Meanwhile, some fans think there is reasoning behind the comparison.
