1. Sam Fender announces debut album release date

 

Sam Fender announced his upcoming debut album, Hypersonic Missiles, will drop Aug. 9. The album was written, recorded and produced at Fender’s own self-built warehouse studio in North Shields, U.K. and recorded alongside long-standing friend and producer Bramwell Bronte. Preorders for upcoming LP are available here. Fender will be touring in Europe later this month, and tickets can be found here. Check out the dates below.

2. AVAIL release additional tour dates

AVAIL announced more shows for their tour this fall. The new dates include stops in Philadelphia, New York City and Boston. Support will be provided by Angel Du$t for the new dates. Tickets will go on sale Saturday, April 20 at 4 p.m. and can be found here.

3. Julia Jacklin shares acoustic music video

4. CYN drops new music video

CYN shared a music video for her latest release, “Terrible Ideas.” The video was directed by Quinn Wilson and made in partnership with Chanel Beauty. “I wanted to bring the intimacy forward,” Wilson says. “I think that comes across most in the hyperclose-ups of CYN and between moments of her touching the lens. She’s so present in front of the viewer, looking at us straight on for the majority of the video.” The track is available to purchase here.

5. Kurt Travis announces solo album, releases new music video

Kurt Travis debuted a new music video for “Easy Peasy” and announced his first solo record, There’s A Place I Want To Take You. “This song is one of my favorites on the album. It’s very playful and lighthearted,” Travis shares. “The song is about how I don’t like waking up in the morning and also how I have a hard time falling asleep.” The album will be released May 17 and is able for preorder here. He’s hitting the road next month with support from Adventurer and Makari. Tickets are available here, and dates are listed below.
