And for Father’s Day, he couldn’t forget to celebrate one very special dad in his life — Darth Vader.

Understandably, Star Wars fans filled the replies, loving Hamill’s adorable post.

What a wonderful way to celebrate. You can see the two characters in action below.

Speaking of Star Wars, a few weeks ago, Hasbro reissued six of the classic toys from the first release. Those came out in 1977 after the debut of the series.

The characters are Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Han Solo and a basic Stormtrooper.

The toys are available exclusively at Target now, and will be sold at other locations in the fall.

The retro toys come complete with retro packaging as well. However, there’s a new sticker to clarify they are not the collectors’ editions from the ‘70s.

The figures were originally made by Kenner, and then the company was acquired by Hasbro in 1991.

Also, the new Star Wars park just opened in Disneyland and used Stormtroopers to enforce the time limit of four hours to avoid potential crowd chaos upon opening.

We’re still within the first three weeks of the attraction’s opening, so guests are still required to make reservations for each member to enter the Star Wars land.

Guests will then receive colored wristbands coordinating with their reserved four-hour time slot. Once that time window expires, park workers dressed as Star Wars characters will patrol the park and politely tell visitors to leave so new visitors may enter.

So what happens if guests refuse to leave the park after their time slot expiration? Well, Disneyland is keeping pretty quiet on that part (use of “The Force” perhaps?).

Park visitors who booked rooms at any of the three Disneyland Resort hotels automatically received reservations, those who booked a stay elsewhere were required to reserve their slot online.

Reservations opened on May 2 for the May 31 – June 23 opening and to little or no surprise, the opening period dates were filled within two hours.

Following the 3-week “soft opening” time frame, Disneyland will launch a virtual queuing system similar to FastPass where guests can sign up for a boarding group.

Each boarding group will have a two-hour window in which guests can enter the Star Wars land, but no time limit once guests are inside

You can watch the trailer for Child’s Play below.

Back in February, we got our first look at the film, based on the 1988 slasher flick. The trailer shows a more high-tech Chucky doll. However, the trailer doesn’t give a full view of the doll.

It producers David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith are producing the movie. Additionally, Lars Klevberg is directing the film and Tyler Burton Smith is writing the script.

Aubrey Plaza (Parks And Recreation) and Gabriel Bateman (Lights Out) portray mother and son Karen and Andy Barclay respectively. Karen gives Andy a toy doll for his birthday and is unaware of its sinister nature.

To build even more suspense, the franchise launched of a cartoon-centric creepy toy website and blood-soaked holiday e-cards and wallpapers. There’s been tons of buzz about the film, especially after the creator of the original film was upset about the reboot in general.
