It all started with this tweet where Earnhardt Jr. revealed what he was listening to while working out.

Dan 'Soupy' Campbell, lead singer of The Wonder Years, immediately noticed and even mentioned that the band would have to get him out to a show the next time they were in his area. Issues vocalist Michael Bohn also gave the NASCAR driver credit for appreciating The Dangerous Summer.

Earnhardt Jr. also caught the attention of Hopeless Records who showed off some vinyl records that the NASCAR driver may be interested in.

It's never too early to start planning for a trip, and even though Warped Rewind is still months away, they wanted to make sure that Earnhardt Jr. knew he was welcome to go cruising with them. It was recently announced that Mayday Parade and Story of the Year, among others will be performing at Warped Rewind.

This isn't the first time Earnhardt Jr. has shared his taste in music either. In November, the NASCAR driver approved of his neighbor jamming to some Nirvana.
