Right now, we know that Hayden Christensen will return to reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker for the series. But Disney+ left him out of the Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer, other than the sound of his breathing.

According to a source for Making Star Wars, the plan is to introduce Vader to the show in a post-credits scene at the end of episode 2. Their source says fans will see Vader in the murky waters of a Bacta tank, with one of the Sith Lord’s eyes opening.

If this is true, it could be why LucasFilm decided to change Obi-Wan Kenobi‘s premiere. They recently decided to debut the first two episodes May 27.

The limited series comprises six episodes. Only time will tell how many of those episodes feature Darth Vader.
