Jerry from 'Parks And Rec' in a Fyre Festival spoof is everything we ever needed

Unless you’ve been living under a rock you’ve watched, or at least heard of, the infamous Fyre Festival fail and the Netflix documentary that followed. You’ll also recall “bottled water guy” Andy King and how he quickly became a viral sensation after being told he’d have to “suck a dick” in order to help save the festival.

Now, just when we thought this hilarious Fyre Festival documentary moment couldn’t get any better, we were graced with a hilarious recreation by one of our favorite Parks And Rec stars…. Jerry/Larry/Terry/Gary Gergich.

The Film Independent Spirit Awards took place Saturday night, bringing in the Parks And Rec alumni to recreate the iconic bottled water scene in the best way possible.

Jim O’Heir, who played Gergich in the NBC sitcom, appeared in the pre-taped parody video as a look-alike to mthe one and only Andy King.

O’Heir finds himself in a similar situation to King’s as Aubrey calls up “Jerry” and asks him for a favor.

“She said you have to go to Costco. You have to find a cashier named Joel who has got all of the water bottles. And will you save this award show and suck his dick?”

O’Heir’s conversation mirrors King’s in many ways… with one small difference.

While King may have gotten out of having to perform any sexual favors, Jerry doesn’t appear to be so lucky.

“That’s what friends are for,” O’Neil says. “And I know she would do the same for me.”

This is everything every Parks And Recreation fan could ever hope for.

We never knew how badly we needed this before now.

Fyre Festival… Take 2?

Ja Rule wants to stage another “iconic” music festival after his first attempt resulting in the Fyre Festival disaster.

Fyre Fest has gotten a lot of buzz recently since Netflix and Hulu released documentaries about the event, which was advertised as “the unparalleled best in music, cuisine, design and hospitality on a private island in the Exumas.”

However, according to patrons, the experience was anything but luxurious and ended with a plethora of lawsuits.

Now, Ja Rule, who cofounded Fyre Fest, wants to try it all over again, according to a recent interview with TMZ. He was first asked if he had seen the films about the festival.

“I lived it, man. I ain’t got to watch it,” Ja Rule said. “It was something that I really, really wanted to be special and amazing, and it just didn’t turn out that way.”

Then he talked about his future plans, but kept things very vague.

“In the midst of chaos is opportunity. I’m working on a lot of new things,” Ja Rule said. He called Fyre Fest “the most iconic festival that never was, adding that he has “plans to create the iconic music festival.”

It sounds like he really is planning on trying things again. Hopefully this time it doesn’t end in such a disaster.
