President Barack Obama confirmed he is not the lead singer of Korn, in case you were wondering

Yesterday, during a Medal Of Honor presentation ceremony in the White House, President Barack Obama told the story of recipient Florent Groberg. In August 2012, Groberg tackled a suicide bomber and saved the lives of fellow service members, but severely injured his leg in the process.

During the beginning of his recovery process, Korn singer Jonathan Davis visited Groberg in the hospital, but he was too dazed to make anything of the encounter and chalked it up to a hallucination. It was not, however.

During President Obama’s Medal Of Honor speech, he confirmed various things, including the fact that he is not the lead singer of Korn. “Flo, I want to assure you, you are not hallucinating. You are actually in the White House. Those cameras are on. I am not the lead singer from Korn. We are here to award you our nation's highest military distinction,” (via Stereogum). 

Davis himself seemed surprised by the presidential shout-out.
